Designer Bio


Dawn Marie is a photographer based in Orlando, Florida. She worked at a career in finance for 37 years and has now retired from that career to do what she loves most – getting out in nature, photographing what she sees, and applying her photos to cards, address labels, notebooks, wrapping paper, and many other products. Her love for photography began when volunteering with a cat rescue several years ago. 

The rescuers manned adoption events every weekend. Fosters would drop off their kitties and event volunteers were there to answer questions and process the adoptions. The part that Dawn Marie saw missing was how to answer questions about fosters she didn’t know. She started photographing the cats and creating adoption cards with names, birthdates, and personal facts about each feline. As the years went on, the photos went from simple portraits to fun scenes depicting the cat’s personalities – those are some of the photos you will find on products in her store. 

That was the beginning. Now, she has retired and spends time walking in nature and photographing everything that catches her eye. In 2010, she opened her Zazzle Store – CatsEyeViewGifts. She began with greeting cards and has blossomed out from there. When not photographing nature or designing products on Zazzle, Dawn Marie enjoy cooking and spending time with family and friends.
